Unfortunately the MGTF is quite an old car now, interestingly the ageing Mazda MX5 is highly praised in comparison to the MG.

Have a look at Euro NCAP, as far as safety is concerned it is on a par with the others in it's class, if you get a 2003 model onwards, as it had extra strenghening added!

I love my MG TF, my sister in law has an MX 5 and we both agree the MG TF is better. More space inside the car and more boot space, the only downside with the MG is getting parts for it now Rover/MG is no more.
