philippines is composed of 7, 107 islands and the biggest island is luzon then visayas and mindanao and the rest are mostly small island like palawan, batanes, etc, etc biggest city by area is davao and most populated area will be the metro manila area which is composed of almost 10 or more cities( i,m really not sure how many cities and localities they have) but the smallest unit of their government is called ":the barangay" headed by somebody called "Kapitan"
