Choose one of your dreams. Any one, but ONLY one. Write down all the things you would need to make that ONE dream into a reality.
Start with the LAST things you would need to make it a reality. Because you know a lot more about the end than the beginning.
You would get maybe 5 or 6 things for the next step down from that dream being real.
Number each one of them, then start with the first major requirement. Write down the things that would have to happen before that one becomes real.
You will probably notice that the closer you get to the beginning, the fewer things would have to happen to make the event happen. Go until you have 1 or 2 things needed to make that happen.
Go back to the top, the 5 or 6 things which have to happen just before your dream can be real. Go to the second and work your way down, until you have 1 or 2 things that need to happen. Then take a break, do something for an hour, but tell yourself before you do that you have only that hour to take a break, then go back to work on your lists. Go to the top again, take the next one and work it down.
do this until you have each of the lists down to one or two things which need to be done.
You have a computer, that makes it very easy to do this. For the Top level, the nearest to the goal, open a text editor to write all of the things in, save it.
Then open a text document for each list on down, in order. A good structure for naming the texts is to use numbers. The first one, the Top level, name that file something like top.txt
Because your goals nearest to the top are numbered, for the first goal, name the list of things to do to gain that goal top_1.txt, write the list of things nearest to top_1.txt and number them.
Take the next step and name a file top_1_1.txt and write what needs to be done. If there are more than one at that level, do the same and name the first one top_1_1_1.txt.
You probably won't need to go farther down that but do it until you get 1 step, for that line of logic.
Go back to top_1.txt and take the second one, name it top_1_2.txt and the steps below it, the same way, top_1_2_1.txt until you have all the top_1_2 lined out.
Then top_1_3 and so forth. until you have all of the top_1 goals lined up.
Go back to top.txt and write the goals for top_2 the same way, top_2_1 then top_2_1_1 and so on.
By the time you get to the last goal in you wrote in top.txt , top_5 or top_6 and have all the files saved, open the bottom file in each of those lists. For instance open top_1_1_1.txt and top_1_1_2.txt and top_1_2_1.txt and so forth, have all of the bottom level goals where you can see them, there might be 40 or 50 of them. You will notice that about half of them will be the same goal, with 4 or 5 others. Take and count the most common one, open your text editor and make a list called start.txt most common start goal would number 1, then list the others in descending order, 2 3 4 5 by how many times they occur.
That will be your first five or 6 goals. Achieve the first one and go to the next, and so on.
Once those 5 or 6 are done, everything gets really simple. Maybe difficult, but simple. at least you will know how to keep going from there.
In computer programs this is called structured programming.
It takes the most complex tasks and makes them simple.
Your dreams become Goals, instead of something out of reach, suddenly the best of them become something you can do and you have started doing already. You say you have been dreaming for a while, so you have a good list of Top Level Goals worked out.
Take one of the Top Level Goals at a time and work it down, accomplish that one and then decide what your next one will be. Once you have the first Top Level Goal worked out, the others follow more quickly.
Then you notice that you can do what you want to do and accomplish what you want to accomplish, and be what you want to be.

I day dream a whole bunch too but I don't see anything wrong with it as long as I can live my life accordingly to society's standards, which is the def. of "normal." I think that you are "normal" but maybe should try other hobbies like writing. Write down what you daydream and that may help you a little or else create a great story.

This problem is not abnormal until it affects your life on a daily basis and interrupts it significantly. If this is what is happening, then you need medical attention. Besides seeing a doctor, you can try to keep yourself around people so you do not have time to daydream, or when your alone, try to keep yourself busy most doing something you enjoy. Unless you cannot stop yourself, do not allow yourself to daydream so much.

as long as you don't commit offence and get yourself into trouble with the law and abide by etiquette, such as being faithful to your girlfriend etc, then you are safe. other than these, i think you're free to do anything you like. turn a deaf ear to what people says. this is what i usually do. if you bother too much, you will find yourself in need of a pshycologist one day.
take myself as a good example, i don't know whether am i being rebellious or what, or just some way to free myself from stress due to too much uneccessary comment, remarks and opinions etc that i got myself indulge in pricking my ears and picking dirt out from my nose. have i really gone mad? i just don't care how others think of me and i do what i like. so, relax yourself and don't stress out too much.
