It is because of Adrenalin secretion. When you are highly emotional you will fell so. The Adrenalin is located near to your kidney.
You will feel when you are in fear also. Some people feel it as butterflies in stomach, some may feel ice or piercing needles in the stomach

this term is used when some one hungry,,,,,,this is because our stomach produce hydrochloric acid ..so our stomach will have a burning sensation.....so many say the term butterflies in stomach..
