Yes it can, but it will be very laggy in big cities and you can forget doing PvP, you'll be dead before your PC loaded the other guy. For quests and instances it is good. You can expect around 7-12 fps. If you don't like the quality and want to upgrade, start with the graphics, if you have an AGP or PCIexpress slot (some mainboards with built-in graphics don't have it), second comes the RAM, CPU isn't that important for WOW.

mmmm. For WoW yes but for future games like for example, "battlefield" you're going to definetely upgrade your fricken graphics card (unless it's good? All I know is that my laptop has some kind of intel graphics card and it sucks) and definetely get more than 512 MB of RAM. Yeah, my games lag so much just from my computer alone because of the RAM. But for WoW you're probably fine. I'm just saying in the future you need to upgrade.

Yes, you can.

I run WoW on a pretty weak system with the same RAM and a similar graphics card, but you will have to make some sacrifices.

When you start playing the game you'll want to lower the resolution and most of the graphic effects to get it to run as well as possible, but you'll definitely be able to run it and enjoy yourself. (and you won't have to pay a couple G's to do it, congrats)

Anything less than a gig of ram is going to suck. I would aim for a minimum of at least 1.5g

it looks like it to me, but check the side of the box it will list what you need to run it
