i have a dell computer and i need new ink. can i go and pick up any type of ink or does it have to a dell product

You have to order them online from Dell.
Dell doe not license anybody else to sell their product, so you are **** of of luck. Yo will have to wait two days and pay shipping and handling.
There is no other cartridge that will work in a Dell printer. Yes Lexmark does make dell printers, however the cartridges are specifically keyed as dell cartridges and will not recognize in your printer.

Ink for computer? Do you refer to pinter ink? You got to know the model of your printer and try search in ebay.com, or else u can always check on the Dell website, too.
