If my man was to go for a sperm count test and they offered him porn to help get the specimen, could he refuse it and just jerk off without it?
I am not entirely comfortable with the thoughts of him jerking off period let alone jerking off to Playboy or something.

I have told him I am uncomfortable with him jerking off and he respects that and doesn't do it. We have a VERY healthy sex life and masturbation is not practiced by either of us.

Don't look now, my dear, but your man is probably already jerking off. It's a man's private and very personal pleasure and has nothing to do with you or with how satisfied he is with his sex life with you. It's something all men do. It is nobody's business but his alone.
There's no rule that says a man has to look at porn in order to give a semen specimen. The decision is his alone to make. Do not go with him if he decides to have his sperm count measured. You wouldn't want him in the exam room when you're having a Pap smear.

What the hell is wrong with you!
First, of course he can jerk off without looking at the porn, but why would he want to.
Second, the guy is going into a closet to whack his willy so that you can contribute to overpopulation of the planet. I'm not sure that the porn is the problem here.

He can do it however he wants.
You can probably take the specimen at home and then take it in for the count. That is what most doc's will do after a vasectomy.
