of the mexican ritual / voodoo/ thing were they cut the neck of the chicken and splatter the blood around their enemies place to put the curse on them and what other things do they do (like toss around bones or read egg yokes). It's spelled like Sangria or something like that. Where did this come from and how far back. Just saw mel's latest movie and was pretty creepy some of the things they did. Great movie though

It is called 'Santeria' and it is not strictly or even originally Mexican, but a mixture of pagan rites with loose Catholicism. It is more of a Caribbean/African/S. American/Cuban cult practice.

It's called Santería. It's a fusion of Catholic beliefs and Yoruba beliefs.
