I am thinking about taking out three of my friends, now that we're all 21, for some authentic Mexican food, and some good margaritas. (I recently enjoyed such an experience with my parents.) Chevy's and Chili's are the only two I know of that are close by. It also appears on Chevy's web-site that their margaritas contain whole ice-cubes instead of finely crushed ice. Is this true? Thanks.

for with Chillis and you cannot go wrong! it has delicious margaritas and their mexican food such as fajitas is great plus it is affordable, greatly cooked, and actually tastes the way mexican food is supposed to. if you can actually go to a real mexican restaurant that would entice the whole atmosphere, food, mood and everything and it would seem so authentic. my fave mexican restaurants -im from TEXAS- are Los Cucos and Maragrita's. they have the best food and the prices are cheaper than Chillis and the taste is pure satisfaction! plus, Los Cucos has these delicious margaritas and they are authentic, fruity or custom ordered just the way you like it and their fajitas for 2 are less than $20 and their pollo del mar is a big hit at $11-$12 a plate and you will have more than enough food to eat and then some to take home.

Go to Chevy's for better Mexican food. As far as the margaritas, yes they use whole ice cubes. The drink is not watered down (versus putting it in the blender) which gives it a better ans stronger taste. You can also try Acapulco's for better Mexican food and margaritas.

Chevy's might not be real Mexican food, and I'm a born and raised Mexican... but, I love it!! It's the best Mex-American restaurant I've ever been to!!
No doubt Chevy's is way better... Chilis?? nah, Chevy's is my way to go!!

Chilis. They have the best steak fajitas. Though I love the hot chips and salsa at Chevys...the birthday singing gets on my nerves there though.

chili is the one i enjoy most. i particularly like its free flow tomato juice and super large portion of streak. the environment is great and well segregated for different walk of people.
