He should be but will he accept? For good team work, Dravid should be retained till the WC.

Hello!

Dear asker this is Khurram Jehanzeb Mayo from Pakistan. I agree with you, Captancy should be given back to Ganguly. No doubt Rahul is a good Player, I think he is just like steel wall in Indian Batting Squad. But when you are going to select Indian Captain then It should be the Ganguly, because Ganguly have such skills which should be present in a Good Captain. Once again I said that "The captaincy should be given back to Ganguly"......

Thanks.

Your view is 200% correct. I wish this would be the selectors' view too. It is Ganguly who can unite players once again to form Team India which is absent now a days. If Ganguly is back in the team, his captaincy should also be back irrespective of who is the present captain (poor Dravid) and coach (Chappel). Not only Bengalees, the whole of India now want Dada as captain.

Hi Appache....I 100% Agree with you that Gangully should be given Captaincy once again. He is one of the most successful skippers India has.

He is the only one batsman who plays bounces very well in spite of being Left Handed batsman.

Look at his One day career records

he Has played 279 matches remained 21 times not out, scored 10123 runs with average 40.65 and having Strike Run Rate 73.79. he has smashed 22 centuries and 60 half centuries.
He has 991 fours and 168 sixes.....

What else we need a in a player to make him captain.

He has played many tournament winning innings for India.

no need again, of course Ganguly is a better Captain than Dravid, still it is not good Ganguly again at this age. Let us look for the future & find a more competent youngster.

I think he should only be added in the team as a player and should not be given captaincy because it will put a bit more pressure on him which can put negative effect on his batting and more of this i think the team members are not going to cooperate with him as a captain so he should not be made captain

Ya its purely evident from the series of south Africa that there is a lack leadership. The leader should be stable in his decisions first, then only a team can come up. Ganguly posses the greatest asset of a person of aggressiveness and stable mind

Never. Giving him the chance to get back into the team is enough. And he is doing pretty good. Until World cup we should not make any more big changes. After that drop sehwag, tendulkar,Ganguly.

i think it is not a right time to change captain. we were almost reached in world cup, we can't take anymore experiments and i think Rahual is a good captain. Right now we can't put Ganguly as captain because he just coming back from his great depression. First of all he should make sure his seat first and then think about captain.
