if your motherboard has minimally 2 IDE ports, you can use 2 dual drive 80 pin IDE cables. both cables would allow both a slave and master drive connected to each, so 4 drives total. If you do not have 2 IDE ports, you can buy an PCI IDE or PCI ata, sometimes known as pata, drive controller to plug the other drives into.

every mother board has by default 2 IDE channels and support 4 drives.(latest motherboard have single IDE channel for Optical Drives n for Hard Drive Sata Channel)
You need to make 1st Hard Drive master n 2nd Hard Drive Slave by setting the jumpers as shown in the drive cover and connect them to 1 IDE channel then do the same thing with optical drive make 1st master n 2nd Slave and connect them to Second IDE Channel.
