Sony Ericsson has got the WORST customer service and after sales service for its call-centre. That is the lousiest I've ever encounter because their customer service officers teased at customers who called in to enquire services and they even used rude remarks & accent to speak to you. It is because we don't know about their products and thus, we called in to find out. But instead, we got teased and made fun of. So I don't know what is really called good customer service for them. They just doesn't behave like a professional service personnel. Also, they provide WRONG infos requested through emails a few times. This is a bad experience for me and some of my friends.

The best customer service I've before is from Banyan Tree, Sennheiser & Poh Kim VCD. They've great customer service talents and possess excellent qualities of a customer service personnel. They knew their products well and offers personalised service to meet customer's needs and also exceed a customer's expectations. That is excellent and very professional.

And if you really obeserve, most of the service personnel are not Singaporeans, most of them are Indonesians, Fillippinos, Chinese & other nationalities. They've retain better service qualities than Singaporeans which are more snobbish & fussy at times.

But in general to say, Singapore still have got GREAT customer service and after-sales service. Highly commendable!

Being a Singaporean, I need to be fair.

Generally, sales and customer service staff are quite friendly althrough we do have black sheeps among the population.

I had my fair share of good service and crap service. Most Singaporean sales staff through not super friendly would at least smile but that would have to start from the customers, us.

How would u feel, as a sales staff, approaching someone with a smile and all u get is a straight face "No, i'm looking around." type of attitude?

My style is always to smile back and say "i'm looking arond".
