I may have an idea of why but not sure yet. I think he is sending more troops because there are problems with population, economy, jobs, and might be heading back to depression so the @ssholle is sending all the American people to be killed off in Iraq like over populated kats at the shelter. I'm just against all this meaningless war. What does everyone else think?

You must have missed the live broadcast tonight where President Bush said it all. You're like the kid who misses class and then hopes he can glean from others what he should have picked up himself.

I truly resent your calling the President of the United States a "low-life" name. Shame, shame shame!

Added: Let me say clearly, "I support the President of the USA, George W. Bush".

I am shock and disbelieve about The President 's decision to send more troops to Iraq. I could not believe my ears and eyes. I do not agree with his decision, I urge you to contact the White House comment line and your Senator and Congress to voice your opinion. Educate people around you about the danger of Iraq and it is about time we redeploy our troop back home. KGO the television in my home town had a poll, 71% of people do not support the President while 29% will. There are so many groups will march and protest. I am sure more to come. I experienced the Vietnam War before and I saw how terrible people were in that situation. My heart and Soul will be with the Iraq people as well as their troops and families.

To me hes sending the troops to be seen to be doing something! Mind you until the electionhis public comments were we are winning! He is a man who can not admit to a mistake and his advisors are completly worthless individuals who dont have a clue about nuances of middle east politics! Hence he continues with his give em hell attitude! Sending in 20,000 troops has been done on numerous occasions! The problem is its a temporary fix! We can not sustain that number! We must remove the arms from the populace by going house to house if we must take the weapons and destroy them! That is the only pacification that will work! Problem is we will never be able to stop the flow of weapons into the country or eleminate all that are there now!

Honestly, I don't like to be hateful, but as an American it's embarrassing when our President cannot admit that he's been wrong for years. From what I recently read, he finally admitted to mistakes... right before mentioning that he'll be sending MORE troops over to Vietnam, er Iraq. Didn't anybody ever tell him two wrongs don't make a right?

I've heard it said that ol' Dubya is convinced he is on the better side of history, no that's History. One day, in his mind at least, his birthday will be celebrated and students will have to memorize a very long laundry list of trivia regarding him, and maybe they'll build him a statue or a monument a la Lincoln. And to be honest, I almost don't want to see such a day transpire, even though I'd most certainly be the most passionate 300-year-old lobbyist shouting about the idiocy of "The Hero of Baghdad."

I don't know, maybe he is just trying to find jobs for all the young poor people who could either stay over here and defend themselves against local psychos, or go overseas to defend themselves from international psychos. Who really knows?

Maybe his family has so many deals with other wealthy families that we have not a world war, with all its tangled treaties and agreements, but... the most stupid vision of illuminati ever conceived. If this is how elites operate, I had better hurry up and make my money, so I can be a voice of reason. Maybe the only one...

President Bush will not be sending more troops to Iraq if Congress, (the Senate and the House), and the American people protest. Write your city, county, state, and federal legislators and voice your opinion. Each citizen, regardless of their opinion, has the right, and obligation, to speak.

If you don't want the @sshole to send more troops into Iraq, or any other country we have no business being in, send a letter every day to your legislators. A stamp only costs 39 cents! What price a life?

The answer is wrong , to send more young people to be killed , the money being spend there can be used for resolving our problems here!We are in need of jobs, better schooling, health care , Iraq can take care of itself!I agree with you, it is another Vietnam!

because bush is caught by the dilemma of his own creation. This is the only option he has to create some breathing space for himself, for his leadership. It's not going to make any difference to the situation on ground. A pullout at this time is equally dangerous! So Mr Bush has to stew in his own juice.

Bush wants sending more troops to Iraq because :
1)he is stubborn and he thinks he will win the war
2)he is misleading american people concern from domestic affairs to fighting terrorists in foreign countries
3)he wants to decrease american people by hoping there will be more troops killed by the heroic Iraq people.
4)he is in the opinion like a bath that should be fully wet throughly
5)he is crazy and thirsty for killing innocent people
6)he is going to show to other countries that USA is the super power in this world
7)he believes that all of his sins will be born by Jesus

Well, there is a lot of ego involve as far as I see. He got to have a good excuse to pull the troops back without looking like a loser. I think involving in other people's civil war is like minding others family business. He said the Iraqi want the US troops to be there. Guess it feels good to be wanted. Over spending in this war may lead to our own financial problem. Sigh. Maybe there is a much bigger picture I miss??

Ya know, some people should be seen but not heard! Do you realize how annoying you and your question is to the average reader? Come back when you have matured just a bit, like in ten years, or so!
