Yes, it is possible. Did they do a nuclear scan? If not you may want to request that. Otherwise, I would seek out a Neuro Surgeon. They work with those kind of issues.

Thyroid maximum cancers in a 26 year previous isn't very hassle-free. Over an 8 month era of stick to-up, this ought to have stepped forward if it have been a malignancy. Go for a second or third opinion. It is good to have a few sets of eyes look at a scan. Is there a Mayo Clinic near where you live? They have branches in Florida and Arizona in addition to the original in Minnesota. Don't give up.

I am not being silly: I wish you could see "Dr. House", I am sure he would be able to come up with a diagnosis. Along with his team.
On second thought, why don't you try running your symptoms by the writers and see if they would make a show about you. I am so NOT kidding. Please, you know the show, "House"?
Also, maybe your nerves and stuff are just all just trying to figure out a new way to comunicate.
None of what I just wrote was in any way supposed to be silly, I really was thinking of the show that solves everything.
I do hope you feel better. Get better. OK.

That is why the process of elimination can work so well in the medical field. The CT is doing as it should and ruling out possibilties or those things hidden that it "could" be.
However, there is always room for human error. Hope you are feeling better soon.
