What makes you think that they want to be black? I agree that they are immitating the hip hop culture which was originated by black people but the hip hop culture is no longer exclusive to black people. It is a sterotype that all black people are into rap, baggy clothes and braids. Yes, some do fulfill this look and there is nothing wrong with that but in today's society ANYBODY can embrace these things, regardless of race. Another alternative is..if you know for sure they want tot be black...tell them to stop mocking the race and acting out the black stereotype. All black people are not the same. All black people don't want to be rappers. These white people you are encountering also seem insecure. Anybody, regardless of their race, who wants to change their race has insecurity problems. Just like i think black people who wish they were white, and hispanics who wish they were black and whites who wish they were hispanic or black...they all are insecure people who need to learn to love themselves and their race. Their is a happy balance between still having respect for your own race and having respect for other races at the same time..Many people have yet to find this balance.

We have color and issues and a cause...Where they have none.
See they want tans and big lips and hips and wish they did not have to get enhancements Where they have none.
It is a faze for them but after the faze is over they have to go back to their way. They just sat and thought What do I say...I do not want You to think I am not loving your culture or the oppression you have gone through over 300 years...I am sorry they killed Dr King and I am sorry for the lynching of thousands of slaves who wanted equal rights in there fight for freedom ...
And you wonder if they really mean it...Some Do
Yet when You see them together you are really frozen out but separate they come back and say I am sorry.
It is the cult time thing. Hip Hop is IN and they want to be a part of it and do not know how or to roots and the rode that leads to this expression of THE BLACKNESS Experience and Struggle that is ON GOING YALL!

I know plenty of white people like that. I don't think we'll ever know the answer to that question. We're proud people and we've come a long way. Plus, black people have given a lot to this country culture wise.

I am an advanced, good-informed, very bold black ladies who does not are living within the HOOD and that i do not rather consume at church buildings fowl (perhaps KFC lol). You can meet black women in so much of locations you might meet white women boo. (eg. eating places, films, the seashore)

Some white people lack knowledge of their own ancestory or have trouble indentifying themselves with their own culture. Therefore they turn to the black culture because they want to feel like they belong to a particular group or they are part of something. I'm am happy being myself!!!

Nearly everyone fantasizes about being someone different. These people see AAs as being cool. Their envy will change with the next fad.

I can't imagine. No one I know would want to change places.
I don't know what brain-washing "schoolust" received in his African-American History class but what he cites here is true maybe for his generation only.

man I don't get it. I'm white chocolate myself and wouldn't change a thing. I think its a fantasy thing, not as twisted as a dude wanting to be a chick but twisted in its self.
