because its easy. not many ads. no hidden agendas. its quick, simple and easy to use.

Google used to be my homepage due to my frequent usage of it. While I still use it frequently throughout the day, I prefer to start my day on Yahoo, with the Yahoo News, weather, then onto my Yahoo email, business & personal accounts.

Google gets me the results faster and more accurately than any other search engine.
But Google isn't my homepage, Something Awful's forums are.

its a good search engine but has been reported as keeping a search of everything you do .. Yahoo probably does this to..Personally I don't care but I think they only do it to get the stats on searches..
