Just the other day I was looking at someone with piercings all aver her face and I wondered to myself- How is that going to look when her face starts to wrinkle and sag? Gross! Please don't put holes in your face!

The stud is really cute! And it doesn't hurt as much as some people will lead you to think. I'm terrified of needles, and had mine done using the needle method, and it just felt like someone was squeezing my nose really hard. I will tell you though, it hurts like a b*tch afterwards for a few days. You have to constantly twist the stud so that it won't get stuck where it is, and that hurts. But after a few days, the pain just kind of disappears entirely. As for infections, as long as you use bactine or something like that on it twice a day, you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah! I have one! Hears some great advice: Get one really small! Like 18 gauge! For real! You have to tell them that you want one small or they will give you a standard nose ring size! The smaller the ring, the smaller the scar will be if you ever decide to have it removed!

Do it. It hurts like a b*tch, it'll make you tear up. If you want to use the tiny stud right away get it done w/a needle. It's about $10 more, hurts like hell, but it's worth it. Otherwise they'll use a gun and you'll be stuck with a big earring stud for a couple weeks. It's cute if you can do it right.... some people aren't meant for em. But try it out. They heal quick if you wanna take it out.

I think it depends on the kind of nose you have, if you have a nose that's sort of pointy, they look really good--esp. a small one. You can only see it when you're turned on that side. I've had my nose pierced 2x in my life & I don't have that kind of nose (mine is more round & you can see both nostrils clearly from the front) & I took mine out & let it close up.

get it done. if in the end you don't like it, you can always take it out. however, make *sure* you get it done with a needle and not a gun - a gun is just asking for an infection.

i have had mine pierced for over a year now, and i have not had any issues with it at all - no infections, no pain, never ripped it out accidentally.

I wouldn't do it. Your nose could get an infection and it could fall off. Then you'd look like Michael Jackson. (Just kidding)
