I think one reason white American men used to be so paranoid about mixed marriage was because they were afraid black men would steal all the white women away from them. (Meanwhile, of course, they were raping and knocking up the black women.)
Now I think it's more a matter of disappearing "racial purity" that worries some people.
We do seem to be tending towards a soft, milky tan in the U.S.

Huh...? what are you talking about? Im an eurasian, half European half Japanese..i dont think there is any problem w that.
Maybe the annoying thing is looking at quite a no. of asian women chasing white men (even the married men) like predator hunting the prey here in Asia. Eeww
If its based on love to each other,good for them
