If you are looking for published articles LexisNexis is probably the best. I always used it through my school's library, so I don't know if you will be able to access it without paying for it.
If you are looking for help with literature, bookrags.com
When you do a search on a subject, stick with websites that end in .edu. Those are school websites, and hopefully the articles and information you find there will be correct. I found some great studies and facts at Harvard Medical's website when I was researching alcohol.
You DO want an accredited school. I don't know if schools like ITT tech, University of Pheonix, and the other schools that are constantly advertised on TV websites' end in .edu, but I would avoid them because you will just get spammed. Stick with schools you have heard of (Harvard, University of Texas, Yale, MIT, anything with ____ State Universty, etc.)
Happy Hunting!
