I feel like I am running out of options with the treatment of my cluster headaches, nothing seems to work. I have tried everything from ergotamine to deseril with limited success, I have also tried drinking lots of water, icing the back of my neck and lavender and peppermint oil. What are some other (preferably natural) remedies that I may not have tried?

I used to get those. They make you want to just vomet. I also had hypoglycemia and asthma.

I took glyconutrients, phytonutrients and phytosterols. No more disease no more headaches for good. It's been six years of freedom.

I used to get cluster headaches and migraines and it was from food allergies and sensitivity to food additives and preservatives. Since I started watching what I eat I have had about 5 cluster headaches/migraines in 4 years (I used to get them about every other day). Go to msgmyth.com. Hope this helped.

My husband suffered badly from cluster migraines for quite a while and could get no relief at all from medications the doctor was prescribing for him.

While talking one day to the pharmacist about it, the pharmacist suggested he try LOW DOSE ASPIRIN. Thought what the heck, got nothing to lose.

It only took a couple of hours for the low dose aspirin to work for him. He absolutely swears by them now.

My step-daughter also suffers but from cluster headaches like yourself. Her mother took her to the doctors, but the prescribed meds did nothing for her.

We got some low dose aspirin for her when she came to stay with us, and she now swears by them.

They are inexpensive - only about $3-4 for a box of 50. Why not give them a try, I'm sure you'll be hooked just like we are.

I do hope they work as well for you as they do for my hubby and step-daughter. It's like getting a new lease on life when the headaches disappear.

Is the problem that nothing works, or the fact that the headaches go away in 1-2 hours by themselves, so no matter what you take, it doesn't have time to take effect?
Have you tried talking to your doctor about it, there are some treatments that may help abort the headaches (they don't work for everyone) but I don't know of any evidence for any alternative therapies being effective in this disease.

Ouch, ouch, ouch...I know the feeling too well. Now I can say I used to have them. I drink a natural liquid supplement called Vemma. If you want to know about it you can email me to aaamie1@yahoo.com.
