Im only in my 20's and I never had a problem with this before I started using birth control. Before the pill I used to get so wet it was embarassing. I've had my hormone levels tested numerous times by different dr's and have been told everything is "normal." I'm been off the pill for over a year now (dr's recommendation) to try to get my body to heal itself and nothing's changed! I'm starting to get very depressed over this and hate using lube everytime I want to have sex!
Anyone have any suggestions other then lube, more foreplay & oral sex???? Thank you!

Continue to consult with your doctor. If he/she does not have the answers that you are looking for then perhaps consider getting a second opinion. This is gynecologists expertise and they can help you best. All the best to you!

First consult another doctor. But what may be helpful is a natural form of estrogen. You can use over the counter or see a gynecologist who prescribes compounded estrogen. It's a natural form of estrogen used as a lozenge, pill, cream. Also there is a presription that is given to menopausal women that is used for vaginal dryness. I know you are not menopausal but the thing about this medication is it is not spread systemically. It is not absorbed throughout the whole body only in the vaginal area and almost nothing in the entire body. It is called Vagifem. It is not used daily and is a pill form that is inserted vaginally with an applicator like a tampon. It slowly releases estrogen to the vaginal area. It is very helpful for this problem. Look into this and talk to your doctor, I know lube can only do so much. Birth control pills can screw you up!

Did your dr try out different brands of b/c pills with you? If not, I would see a 2nd dr & talk to him about it. Also ask what he wld recommend to offset the dryness.

In the meantime, continue using a lubricant which would be put on the penis just before entry. That's what us women have to do after menopause. I know its a bummer. Ask your mother or grandmother what they do about this problem.

Maybe your b/f just doesn't do it for you either or you need more foreplay.
