Stop hanging out with them. If they ask why just be honest and tell them their moody and not exactly fun to be around.

Or something you can try is to ask them what has made them so moody and rude. If hey get defensive just plain out tell them they can either talk to you about it or that you cant deal with the moodiness anymore.

You choose those who are in your life. If they are not impacting it positively then maybe you need to take a break from them.

Let him\her know how you feel and that you love them, but they are being rude and disrespectful.

Step away from that person so that they realize what a good friend that you are and eventually they'll come back around on better terms.

When she is being rude drop hints that she is being mean to you. It can be hard to be around a moody person. Takes her anger out on you? I'm not quite sure what you meant as to whether she vents to you when shes mad or that she gets mad at you when shes mad. Let her cool off then talk to her.

I think to cut-ties is a little extreme...unless you've tried to actually confront them about this, face to face, no sugar-coating.

One of my good friends was really getting on my nerves for awhile and doing things that made me not want to be friends w/ her anymore. So I confronted her about all of it and it only strengthened our friendship. (It was scary too b/c I'm not a confrontational person at all!)

Tell him/her it bothers you when they take their anger out on you and instead of taking it out on you theyshould talk to you about what is making them feel upset so maybe you can help them. Just use a lot of "I feel" phrases and not "you" accusations so she/he won't automatically get defensive.

Just remember that friends are not disposable (you'll need them someday, trust me) and also no one is perfect. And you can't change anyone. But you have every right to tell this person how you feel and in fact you probably owe it to them to tell them you don't appreciate what they're doing before you just cut the ties.

You can either abruptly end it and tell him or her that you are tired of their actions, especially the anger part. Or you can gradually taper off the relationship. Maybe you could sit down and just tell him or her how you feel and see if it even matters to them. Then go from there.

Stop being her friend. Don't call or hang out with her anymore. Why would you want someone so negative in your life bring you down all the time.

I know what you mean. I have friend working on former boyfriend who has Chronic Pain and a substance abuse problem which I discovered. As a result of his his substance abuse, he hasn't been communicating with me regularly, he hasn't been faith full, and disrespects me when we do communicate and wants everything his way.

Avoid them when at all possible. When that person unloads on you, just give it right back! One or two times like that and they'll figure it out.

What you can and should do is tell your friend that his/her behavior is bothering you. If the attitude continues after you confronted him/her, you should find someone new to befriend.
