Because the spell check is right there above the box. It is so easy to use, yet no one wants to. Although I don't care if someone screws up one word. It is the person who misspells every word and then talks about being educated who I feel I have to pick on a little.

Perhaps misspelled words wouldn't be so irritating if spell check was not as readily available. It is frustrating when people do not utilize the resources presented. Is it laziness that keeps one from using spell check?

A mis-spelled word or two won't get anybody's dander up, but many posts have lots of mis-spellings, which is irritating because it is sloppy: it doesn't show reasonable respect for the responders who might read it.

Well, let's say there are a number of spelling mistakes, or the question is written in txt, or there is a really dumb spelling mistake... All of these things are usually combined with an insipid question, therefore inviting ridicule.

because spellcheck takes 2 seconds, and some people are detail oriented or maybe they just like to be negative. as long as i can decipher the meaning i couldn't care less about the spelling.

If the entire question is badly spelled, they figure u should use Spell Check.

Because there is a spell check and people are too lazy to use it but when they have spelt a word wrong they don't care. :)
