Last time I saw a form like that, there was a box for "White Hispanic" and one for "Black Hispanic." Many Hispanic people are caucasian, in which case it's not a mixed-race thing for them to marry people of European descent.
Also, I believe that you only have to be 1/8 of any ethnicity to be able to qualify for that minority's scholarships.

Laura depends what part of the world the Latino is from. Mexicans are a mixed race between the indigenous people of central America and the Spanish (white) settlers. The whole Hispanic thing is mixed races, either black with Spanish, native with Spanish or a mixture of all three. Look at Brazilians, Cubans, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans. All mixtures of white/black/natives. So I dunno about your question. Hispanics historically are MIXED raced people! It is impossible to accurately count the percentage that are white indeed. There are WAY more mixed Hispanics than white Hispanics especially considering all the ones that come from Cuba and Mexico...
