I want to eventually work in New York or Japan (I'm from Vancouver) in business when I get older. How much does a Bachelor's Degree really matter? Or should I just get a diploma in a 2 year program?

Get that Bachelors degree. It just opens so many doors and is rapidly becoming the minimum to any desirable job.

I didn't do this and it took me until my early 40's to get the kind of jobs and income I could have had in my late 20's if I had that degree.

The 2 year degree is OK, if you want jobs like a bookkeeper instead of accountant, or nurse.

Also I saw a figure somewhere that a person with a bachelors will make easily $1 million USD more in their lifetime with a bachelors rather than a diploma alone. That was quite a while ago. I bet that figure is closer to 2 million now.
