Australians are open-minded, very friendly, easy going (sometimes too easy going), happy, optimistic, always ready to help you. I'm French, I've been in Australia for more than 2 years and don't want to go back home.
Some friends and members of my family have visited me. They think the same, and my brother is planning to move to Australia!

I've never met an Australian personally but TV has given me a good impression (glory be & hallelula). I love your accent & there aren't many I like. Do people live in the outback? Not sure but I know there are many who make a living under harsh conditions (ranching for example) & I admire their strength of character. All in all, you have a positive image (except for all those nasty snakes slithering around & about).

What is your opinion of peanut butter? Each brand of peanut butter tastes slightly different.

All Australians are different.

Many are boring they have no conversation and are very envious of the non australians who have class and culture and everything else they do not have.
they also are incredibly superficial in their relations with others
but many of them are also very friendly and outgoing with a very good sense of humor. i think i have lived here long enough to know them.
