I'm addicted to him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am thirteen years old and even though I know how much of a jerk he is, I love him so much, and has loved for about three months. We used to be friends... now we ignore each other. He hates me and is going out with my enemy. Please help me get over him, or at least tell me how I can get him to like me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww--you sound so young! Its cute! (I remember when I used to refer to people as my enemies. I haven't used the term in a long time because not a lot of people got into my university....)
Anyway...isn't it frustrating how we don't get to pick who we are attracted to? I think "attracted" is the right word--see, its hard to love or even like a person you know is a jerk. (You said he hates you? Unless he has a good reason, he is probably a bad person.)
I encourage you to get over him, but that's easier said than done so here's an idea....
Start thinking about the qualities you want in a partner. Don't think about Jerk Boy, just list 10 good things you like in a guy. Is there another person you know like that, or hero from a book/movie that is like that? Now compare that person to the guy at school. Does he measure up? Chances are, that list will make him look kinda' wimpy....
You're gonna meet more guys in your life. But in the meantime, just be glad that he's ignoring you. When I was 13, I'd be happy if people would ignore me more often...sure beats getting picked on....(ha ha! can you tell I got that a lot?)

Hey...you're only thirteen. As much as I know it hurts now, you'll look back later and think...hey why wasn't I thinking! lol :)
Anyway, try hanging out with your friends, stay busy. Shopping, clubs, sports, friends, etc. Don't let boys ruin ya at 13! Friends can definitely help in times like these. You don't want to be with a guy who's a jerk anyway! Time will help you...I know this. I'm 10 years older than you and had my first heartbreak at 16. It killed me because he wanted to be with someone else. We stayed friends, and that hurt too! Be young...have fun! Try not to think about him...if he has myspace...don't visit the page. Don't go to constant reminders of him. Just try to live each day as a 13 y/o having fun!! :) Good luck!
