The answer is no. Iverson and Anthony might combine to produce equal or better offensive skills, but the problem here is that they dont play defense. Jordan and Pippen have been on All-Defensive teams in most of their careers. And remember, offense sells tickets, defense wins championships.

If you make out a comparison between Pippen and Jordan, No.
Jordan is a scorer while Pippen is a facilitator.
Both Carmelo and Iverson is a scorer at best. Even though Iverson dished out 7+ APG, he's NOT a facilitator.
Let's just see how they will complement each other when the time comes.

Jordan and Pippen were the TWO best players in the NBA (once Pippen decided to really become a player) when they won their titles. I'm the furthest thing from a Jordan "fan" (although I LOVED watching those Bulls teams play), but there's no way that Anthony and Iverson will accomplish what Scottie and Michael did.

You heard it here first :-)

Not even close and I'm not even a Jordan fan. I have a hard time believing the will gel. I forsee some trouble in distributing the ball between the two. Pippen and Jordan had a good understanding of thier rolls on the bulls. I don't see the same happening with 'Melo and Iverson.

Two words: 6 titles! They are not even in the same universe as Jordan and Pippen. I am a totally unbiased fan, and I say no contest! They are more similar to Kiki Vandewe and Alex English.

absolutely not...Pippen was sidekick to Jordan and both he, Jordan, and the whole world knew it. The Iverson-Carmelo duo no one knows who the dominant player is going to be which leads to the speculation that they may not work out together because both of them wants to be the superstar, but realistically only one can be it.

the two are very gifted gamers. If I had to chosen one over the different i might chosen Allen Iverson by way of way he handles the ball and how he leads his teamates. Plus he has 11 yrs experience. i think of denver replaced into an ok selection for him. i assumed he might have beeen extra perfect perfect in Boston or Miami. yet from the video games I even have considered him performed in I see him and the nuggets have become alongside as a set. and it feels like a perfect extra wholesome for him. yet purely time will tell.

No indeed. I am an Iverson fan, but lets be real, Jordan was extreme. Iverson is no where near Jordan level.

They haven't even played together yet. Pippen and Jordan are the best duo EVER. They will not ever be beaten.
