I just saw it for the first time. I liked it, but I think they should have picked someone else instead of Ben Affleck...somehow, he just didn't fit in with that noir type storyline. Does anyone else agree with me? I'm not trying to bash Ben here, but I could see a bunch of different actors in the role. Who would you chose?

That one is old. Over all not so good.
They wanted someone who could be believable as a dunce.
In which case, I feel Ben did an excellent job.

I agree with you... Although Ben Affleck is a good looking guy, with powerful friends and pretty good credentials, he can't act his way out of a paper bag..my opinion...

Here's a wierd thought Rob Schneider. You don't need to \be athletic of good looking to play that role. And the thought of Cherlize seducing him is hysterical to me.
