I just started the yasmine pill during my period and up to the next packet and I haven’t had my period yet have been having sex while taking the pill. Is this normal could i be pregnant ? please help





i have had a little bleeding before tho inbetween starting the yasmine pill and now...it was due yesterday and late in the afternoon there was a little more blood on toilet paper but nothing has come today

When I started my pill, it took me 3 months to get a period. You could be pregnant but you could also be getting regulated.

Yasmine is the birth control pill that is supposed to make you have fewer periods, your doctor should have told you that. On yasmine most women only have 3 to 4 periods a year. So it is very possible that you are not pregnant, however wait a few more weeks until you freak out and take a pregnancy test just to be sure. It will give you a result of positive if you are pregnant whether your on birth control or not. I would use other forms of protection until you find out for sure just in case! Whenever you start a new kind of birth control or switch birth control pills, there are sometimes irregularities. Chances are, your hormones are out of whack. It could be that you are pregnant but it's unlikely. The best way to find out is to take a pregnancy test. When I switched from Seasonale to Tri-Sprintec, my period was 7 days late. Try not to stress too much, the late period is probably due to your hormone levels evening out.
