I'm 15, 5'7, 125 lbs and have started doing around 4 sets of 30 push-ups every night and my upper chest is killing me. How many more days(if ever) will it take for it to stop being sore?

You might find more relief from the pain if you took a day off in between and worked another muscle group on your off day. The exercize tears the muscle and if you don't give it time to heal in between you can acually injure yourself. If you are on your third day of doing it everyday, this is probably the worst day, if you want to keep going every day and you don't end up with an injury (at 15, you can subject your body to all kinds of rough treatment and come out just fine) it'll probably start to hurt less within a week.

The first 4 weeks are the toughest because you are building a physical routine for your body. You should go as long as you can the first 2 weeks of starting this new regimen of working out. On the third week alternate days of working out or do half as much on alternating days. Depends how devoted you are. On the fourth week and beyond you can begin to do more than 30 a set. Also try taking a slightly longer break between each set, and as time goes on tighten that break up. Itll stop being sore within 1 week MAX, unless you keep pushing yourself. To make this soreness last a lot shorter, try using Icy Hot type products on your chest and biceps to aleviate the pain while decreasing healing time.

Have fun.

Why not try 3 times a week for example Mon. Wed. Fri. Muscles need chance to recover and you are just starting out.
