I'm a Christian, so of course I'm against homosexuality. However, even if I were not, anal intercourse seems unnatural for anyone, male or female.

This activity involves a part of the body used to excrete waste, and of all the orrifices on our bodies, it is by far the most unclean. Can someone catch hepatitis and other diseases from doing this?

A relative whom I love very much is gay. I worry for his health, and pray every day that he is safe. Also, what is the point of wearing condoms during sexual intercourse, if one participates in unprotected oral sex in a homosexual relationship? I don't get the logic behind that.

What surprises me the most, is that my relative is extremely clean in all areas of his life, so I can't understand this lifestyle choice. I don't mean to offend anyone, but I just had to ask.

Interesting question. A lot of people are disgusted by the idea of anal sex, and to be quite honest, yes, it really is disgusting. However, if you start to think about it, so is all sex. Our genital areas in general are fairly disgusting- the same vagina penetrated in sex discharges urine and menstrual blood. Everybody's genitals sweat, and as warm, dark, moist places, bacteria love to breed there- giving us that characteristic smell. There are little hairs to get crusted over with whatever junk . . . if you start thinking about it, it's enough to turn anyone's stomach, and anal sex is just one step worse.

However, I think many people have the wrong idea about anal sex. When you do it, you take precautions against messes and uncleanliness. You hop in the shower and clean yourself out, or you go to extra measures (as many do) and use an enema (sure to get rid of every last bit of fecal matter). Your partner uses latex gloves or a condom so that should there be anything to 'contaminate' him (or her, with a strap-on/toy), they're safely protected from it. In this way, it's absolutely possible to have completely safe anal sex that isn't remotely dirty in the least.

It's possible to catch diseases from anal sex, surely, but that's why the precautions are in place.

As for the point of wearing condoms during sexual intercourse but not during oral sex, I agree with you completely. All sex should be protected! I imagine, though, that their rationale is that anal sex is far riskier for the transmission of disease, whereas unless you have open sores in the mouth or on the penis, disease transmission in oral sex is fairly low, particularly if no ejaculate enters the mouth. But if you wear a condom for anal sex, you should definitely be wearing a [new] condom for oral sex, too.

Hope that's helped. Just keep in mind that all sex is rather messy, and anal sex, with the right care taken, is completely clean. As for natural, I can't tell you (what, in fact, is natural?), but the human body was oddly designed to have prostates and G-spots that feel wonderful stimulated through anal sex, as well as nerve-rich anuses that respond to stimulation as well. As long as it feels good, people are going to keep doing it!

Are you also against eating pork and shellfish, wearing mixed fibers, and shaving, which are listed right alongside homosexual sex in the Bible? Or are you a Cafeteria Christian, picking and choosing which of God's laws you want to obey or judge others by, and which you prefer to totally ignore?

The penis excretes waste (urine). So does the vagina (menstrual blood). Does that mean that you consider vaginal intercourse to be "unnatural", too?

Newsflash! The MOUTH is MUCH dirtier than the anus. Also, LOTS of heterosexuals have anal sex. Assuming one bathes and defecates regularly, there's nothing unclean about it. You can only catch hepatitis from someone who has the disease, and sex is only one of many ways it can spread. Oral sex between homosexuals is not any more dangerous than oral sex between heterosexuals.

Homosexuality is NOT 'unclean' or a 'lifestyle choice'. When did YOU choose to be attracted to members of the opposite sex instead of your own? Where are you getting so much misinformation?

These days unsafe sex of any kind is dangerous-gay or straight. This isn't a lifestyle choice..that is what you don't understand...and unless you come to accept that you will never really understand this person...all of our sexual organs...both male and female are also involved in excreting wastes... Whilst oral sex can be risky for many diseases (gay or straight---diseases don't pick sides)..unprotected anal and vaginal sex is more condusive to HIV transmission.
You sound like a person who is really trying to understand this issue...you just have to accept him for what he is..not what he is not...you may never understand why...he may never understand why...but he is gay..and he will live his life that way and probably be happy ......not one of the gay people I know hasn't wanted to be straight more than anything else at some point in their life...that's part of the reason that gay teen suicide continues at such a high rate..I repeat --this is not a lifestyle choice...we didn't choose this..but I'll be darned if I'm not gonna make the best of my life because of it.

Oral sex is actually the safest form of sex and has a very low risk of disease transfer even without a condom and/or with swallowing. Anal sex can cut very tiny cuts into the *ss if you aren't too careful without you even noticing, so it's almost always recommended to use a condom unless both partners have stayed loyal and tested HIV (and all other STDs) negative for 6 months. As long as you use plenty of lubricant and a condom, anal sex is just as safe as any other form of sex; it's only when you don't use those that things get dangerous. Also, as for the excretion of waste part, straight sex involves the use of orifices that involve the excretion of urine, and straight people have anal and oral sex anyway to begin with. Anal sex is our way of expressing our love for our partner because neither member has a vagina, and if one did, gay guys wouldn't be attracted to them in the first place. Being gay/bi isn't a lifestyle choice, it depends on what hormones stimulate your brain. Gay/bi guys' brains just happen to be stimulated by testosterone. I hope you learn to accept gays/bis more; we try to be sweet and show that we are normal people just like everyone else.

Darling,
In what century are you living in.

Prior the the puristic view of the West, the Karma Sutra was used by the Indians, Chinese, Japanese, Moghuls (Turks) depicting anal intecourse between man & woman, man & man. long long ago.

Do your wife give you oral? Same as much as you urinating, an activity involving a part of the body used to excrete liquid waste.

Do you wear condoms when you have intercourse with your wife?
Oh dear, didnt you agree your wife gives you oral sex? You giving her oral sex too.

I don't see how its any different that a man or woman or a man and a man. Any sort of sex can be dangerous.

I mean think about it, the penis excretes waste, as does the clitorus which the penis rubs up against during intercouse. So there's all kinds of bacteria everywhere. Sweat is waste. It's not pretty, but it's all part of sex.

Keeping yourself clean and showering daily usually helps things stay, uh, fresh.

Condoms.. Say it with me.. Condoms.. Safe sex.

now that said one can wash up and if you and your partner do not have anyone other than yourselves then you can keep diseases down to nothing.
My friend and co worker has been with his hubby for 11 years now. Much longer than a lot of straight couples and he would be one of the first to tell you that safe sex is best. But then he has nothing but love for his partner.

Christians should get a little humble, they think they have morals on their side... anal sex with a condom is perfectly safe. Anything else is prejudice and an issue they think they can give an opinion about, since you don´t read even the comics. you make me sick!
