I collect old magazines, in particular issues that have early printed stories by authors who would go on to become famous (mostly sci-fi stuff).

As to whether it's worth it? I really like it as a hobby, and the magazines do have some value, with some potential for increased value in the future.

But whatever it is, chances are somebody somewhere collects it and derives enjoyment from it, just perhaps not as a sound financial investment.

Books and magazines are not worth too much. But, as for the vinyl it all depends on what type of music you have, some albums sell for a tremendous amount, look on E-Bay and do the highest first and you will see what I am talking about.

l have a few magazines stashed at home. l collect them for my kids' homework when they need cut-outs and also for private reading. l got rid of the really old ones.
lf you are a collector, its all worth it. Some even sell it to antique stores (for old records and books). lts a good way to clear your closets and shelves. Check availability of these stores.
You have the option whether to keep it or sell it.

Some titles are worth much money, but many are not worth the space they occupy. Look in books on used mags to see which ones are valuable. You can fill your house with "TV Guide' and have nothing but trash.
