I wore white gym shoes at my wedding and let me tell you....I am so glad I did, I almost fell up the alter to my soon to be hubby!!! You can buy keds or some other sort of canvas shoes and then embellish. There are also great little kitten heels! I love them! Try a great pair of chunky shoes. Not from the 70's or anything but you can find some great shoes at Target, Payless, Penny's, think outside the box. You will be dancing and walking and standing alot. You watn to be beautiful but also comfy!!!

my best advice would be to suck it up!! you'll have the pictures of your wedding forever, and you want to lok absolutely perfect.. this being said, you don't want to have a terrible day and ruin your wedding just because your feet hurt. kitten heels are a more comfortable option, or you could just look really hard for the perfect heels that don't hurt. they do exist if you put the time into looking. you can also buy dr scholls inserts made for heels that will make them a hell of a lot more comfortable.

nice flats. zappos.com has a huge selection of shoes. i think a still dressy option would really be nice flats, matching your weddding dress. or, if you go to insolia.com or any drugstore, there are food/heel/arch cushions that will help greatly with the pain. i saw them in an issue of InStyle.

I wore blue sneakers that I embellished with lace and pearls. Comfy and not a soul knew because they were covered by my wedding dress!
