He was chugging some Sunny D but not THAT much and he fell and we all ran into the kitchen he was on the floor and he says he just remembers chugging the drink, feeling dizzy and weak and "sleepy" and then next thing he knew he was on the floor... I thought maybe it "went down the wrong tube " but when that happens you cough uncontrollably and that didn't happen.. Could it have been a heart attack ?? Is it related to the drink ? He says it was right away so it can't be a coincidence .. he says it wasn't burning it was aching..

Wasnt a heart attack. A heart attack is slower, more painful and he would have remembered that. Several things are possible, he wasnt breathing enough while chugging, which is kind of like choking yourself. If thats the case, he blacked out from a low oxygen level in his bloodstream. Next more serious possibility is a slowed/restricted flow of blood to the brain. That splits even further into, a blood clot, which is extremely serious or a thickening of the blood vessels in his brain. Both very serious. Depending on his age and history with blood pressure and cholesterol it could be any number of things. If this has never happened before and he has a healthy levels of cholesterol and Blood Pressure, it could have been a freak accident. This also just popped in my head, is he a diabetic? Has he been tested? This is a reaching possibility but maybe he is a diabetic and doesnt know, and suffered from a Low Blood sugar. That generally makes people pass out whether they are a diabetic or not but diabetics are prone to this condition. There are too many possibilities, so tell him to take it easy with the Sunny D and stop chuggin out the bottle. Talk to your fiancee about his health history. Maybe there is something you havent known about him. Also, dont waste your time in ER. Go to a general physician and get some blood work done. Until then, try eating a little healthier and be happy you are still here to enjoy everything you love =) Congratulations on your engagment. Good Luck.

He probably stood up too fast or he may have been chugging so long without breathing that he passed out. If you're not going to the emergency room right now anyway just keep an eye on him and see if he has any other/further symptoms. If he hit his head on anything when he fell you may have to take him to the emergency room anyway, check his pupils to see if they fail to react to bright light or react improperly. You will get treatment at the ER even without insurance, but if he's not really serious you'll just end up sitting there instead of at home while the whole thing passes + they'll send you a big fat bill when all is said and done.

You can go to the ER without insurance if they do not treat you they are violating your patient's bill of rights and that is illegal.

Is probably from standing up too fast after bending over and picking it up from the bottom of the fridge and throwing his head back and chugging it.

Advice.. anytime you bend over or lean forward be sure to keep your head up and chin above your heart, this will help prevent future dizzy spells.

You might want to take him to the emergency room just to check. You can get treated at an ER without insurance.

if he's not well, take him to ER. if he's conscious and fully aware of things, set up appointment with your family doctor. he will set up blood tests,
heart tests.

good luck.
