Dude their is no Next Barry sanders he was like the micheal jordan of running backs.
Barry sanders was electric when he had the ball.
Watching barry sanders lose 3 yards was more exciting than watching some guys gain 10 yards.
Barry sanders could broken every rushing record ever if he played for a better coach and team like lets say barry instead of thurman goes to buffalo. Barry would still be running.
Reggie Bush is like a westbrook kinda guy good and fast. But Barry SAnders was magical dude. go back look at Barry sanders tapes no one in the history of the game was more elusive than Barry maybe gale sayers. Barry was the perfect running back

It's Like asking who's Better Barry or Emit, Personally I think Barry was a Way better RB. Barry played the game on a team that was crap, He had to to all the work him self, not like Emit or Reggie they play(ed) on teams that have a chance, they have a o-line that blocks and Barry didn't. So in the end you should ask Who had the better O-Line to run behind Emit Smith or Reggie Bush. Barry Sanders is in a league of his own

Reggie is still a rookie. He is not a power runner but his pass receiving skills are excellent. From what I have seen last few games, he is realizing that the holes are quicker and your first step has to be north and south rather than east and west. I do believe him to become an elite running back. Right now today he is not in the same arena as Barry but... I think he will have a great future in the Pro's. If it had not been for Deuce the Saints would not have won as many games as they did. This would only mean that Reggie, even as good as he is, is not the dominanting running back yet.

No one will EVER be the "next Barry Sanders". Barry did things that no one else could, or ever will.
Even Ladanian Tomlinson, who will go down in history as one of the greatest backs in NFL history, doesn't have the same magic Barry did.. give me both guys in the prime of their career, and I'd take LT, but Barry could do things that looked just plain impossible.
Reggie Bush, if he has the career everyone thinks he will, will end up with numbers (and a style) comparable to Marshall Faulk.
Stop blaspheming the great name of Barry. He was one of a kind, and always will be.
Oh, and to the guy above me.. I'm tired of everyone saying "Barry didn't have a line"... WTF were you watching? Lomas Brown was a regular pro-bowler.. they had a few guys. Mike Compton... c'mon man... yeah the Cowboys of that same era had a BETTER line than the Lions, but the guys blocking for Barry weren't a bunch of slouches, either.

Nah. Though I think that Reggie Bush will be a top notch back for a few years, I highly doubt that he will attain the greatness Barry Sanders accomplished.
Then again,
only time will tell.

As young as he is its hard to see his ability in the NFL. Hes got great hands, great speed, a good cut back, but he does not have size. Barry was undersized but I have only seen Bush try to go through a guy and not around him which is harder in the NFL the NCAA. Barry did go through guys so unless Bush can do that, which I dont think he will beacuse its not his game, hes going to be his own kind of back. Its hard to compare two diifernt styles. But dont get me wrong, Reggie Bush is a good player and young.

There are many similarities between the running styles of Barry and Reggie, but Barry is in a class of his own. Barry is one of the best of backs of all time. Reggie had sub-par first year. It is too early to be discussing Reggies "greatness." I do however think Reggie is a better running back in certain aspect; in particular when he is thrown the ball.

Only if he change his running style maybe. He tries to break it outside alot and not run up the gut than make move down the line. He found out that their are more faster defenders in the NFL than in college. That's why he average only 3.6 yds a carry and under 3.0 in Oct. and Nov. I think the best comparison to him stat wise is Marshall Faulk. With big receiving number like Faulk.

While he does have potential, he seems to be more along the lines of the next Marshall Faulk or Roger Craig. His pass catching skills really make him a versatile threat and depending on how the Saints decide to use him he could put up big receiving numbers as well as rushing stats.

he's like an exact replica of Brian Westbrook. Above-average running back, but not Barry Sanders-esque, however when it comes to short route passes/screens, he is gonna be clutch
