Your home is your place of solace. To some people, it is a livelong partner. To some families, it is a family heirloom - passed down from generation to generation. Even if you were to go for a vacation to Paris or Rome, once all the helter skelter of a holiday ends, and you turn on the lights of your home for the first time in months, you will feel a sense of belonging and know deep in your heart that you're home. I guess a home isn't a home when that "feeling" isn't in your heart anymore; you know, that "feeling" of connection with the four walls and ceiling. At the end of the day, it all lies in your heart.

"East or West? Home is the best!"

"Home is where the heart is", and it will forever be "home sweet home."

When you feel like an intruder. It happened to me at 19 yrs, My brother at 18 but he went off to college, I did not go to college and was oldest of four children. It all comes down to your parents/grandparents raising. Did they stay home and work family farm? Go off to war? Stay home and keep house? I would let my kids move back with me in a minute. ONE TIME !!

When it is cold and there is no love. When it is time to move on because the once present things have gone and moved on also. When you don't feel needed and appreciated anymore. When you are old enough to go out there on your own and make a new home.

When you are not in my darling!!

When you have sold it?

When you move?

When you are home alone!!

Tell it to Mac. Culkin. who demanded his parents, that is typical case of home not a home, money helps if you can use it but many times breaks home.

umm...a home is always a home if you're referring to it as a home. a better question would be: when is a house not a home?

home is where the heart is.. that being said, if you don't feel comfortable in the situation you are in, it's not a home anymore.

When you live there and you just feel like it's (to quote David Byrne's song by the same title) "Glass, concrete and stone". Or... you're living in a Wal-Mart.
