ok forgive me if i'm wrong..but havn't people in the "holy land" the middle east etc..been fighting for hundreds and thousands of years over religion and territory and culture? What makes us think we can fix it? I know we have to prevent it from haarming us, but why do we expect it to end? It will never end..but will our participation in it end? just a thought

People all over the world have been fighting since time began. What does that have to do with anything?

The "State of Israel" was planted on Palestinian land without their consent in the 1940's. The Palestinians have been brutalized as a people by the "State of Israel" ever since, with the financial and military blessings of the U.S. Government. How are the Palestinians supposed to act?

our participation in Iraq will end before the elections in 2008. The Republican Party was embarrassed by the defeat in 2006 and the party will not allow Iraq to be an issue in the next election. There is a lot of money in politics. Enough to end a war, or start one.

Society is ever changing. Iran and Iraq are the 2 most bikering peoples around because of religion...Only culture and awareness of others will change the outlook
