Totally normal!!! Don't worry, it can take a year or more for your period to regulate, but it will. This is just new to your body so it's trying to work it all out.

I think it's especially normal to have irregular periods during the first few years or just during the teenage years in general.
I got my first period at 11 and it has been irregular ever since (I'm now out of college).
I had an ultrasound done b/c I had very painful cramps, and went to the gyno and everything checked out normal. Some women just have irregular cycles. If you can, maybe in a few years, I'd go on birth control b/c you ALWAYS know exactly when you'll get your period, sometimes to the exact hour on the exact day of the month. (I do).
If you're having lots of pain with your period, or even during the month when you're not on your period, then I'd go to your doctor for an ultrasound or testing. But I think you're completely normal.

This is probably completely normal. Even though you've had your period for some time your body is still changing and all of those changes can affect your period. I would however keep track on a calendar when you are getting it and when you aren't. That way if it doesn't work it self out, you can talk to your doctor about it. They will want to know when you were getting it, etc.

There are a lot of things that can cause your period to be irregular. Stress in school could be the cause. If you are very athletic playing sports, then they can affect your period. It's all perfectly normal. Don't worry!

often times all females go through a period of irregularity talk to your caretaker (Mommy, Dad, Grandma, Sister) and perhaps a check up wouldn't hurt if it's been a while since you've seen the doctor
