hey summer breeze i don't think you have been doing your home work girl your saying that bush did not spend millions on his campaign to become president and he has no influence over any sort of media outlet (fox news? Rupert Murdock?) actually i agree with you we should not keep bashing bush because i don't really think he even knows what is really going on he probably cant even spell America let alone run it is the slimy boneheads that are behind him they make the policy's and write the speeches bush just gets told what to say in his ear piece . and when they are finished with bush then they will get another puppet and start again. america needs to wake up !!!!!!!!!

Absolute skill is contained in the hands of the close by authorities, and in case you would possibly want to not take care of it, you're in difficulty. All absolute is likewise contained in the hands of the Bureau, yet contained in the mercy of the politicians. The President has the hands in this for approval, so counter checking the 'proposed' would have very last result that's likewise absolute yet with the participation of the Governing bodies.

Well we don't have a President in the UK, but we do have a wanker who would love to be a president, dictator and absolute ruler of all around and under him. Unfortunately for us all he has succeed in being is an arsehole with a ponced up image and
speech training that has made him sound like a stuttering nutter who can't put a sentence together. Talking of similarities, when Blair goes....who takes over??? (inbreeds - the bloody lot of them)!!!! for Brown...read as above.....!!!!

This is really the way it is in every country if you think about it. How much direct influence do you have over your national government? Is there anything it's doing that you don't like, but are largely powerless to stop.
The American people are buying Bush's ideas about Iraq less and less. The polls now indicate that a majority of the American electorate does not approve of his handling of the war, or of his escalation ("surge") plan. U.S. military officials are against Bush's ideas. Many Republicans are turning against his ideas.

Fraz, you have it in a nutshell with "Saddam would have MADE one of his sons president". We vote. Further, Jeb Bush was a good governor and we could do worse. Saddam did retire. On the end of a rope, as usually happens to dictators.

reading these posts i see that conservative thought people have gone to sleep and the board is filled with most liberal sticky gooey people whining with sap filled faces. Woe is me type people , the sky is falling people are truly big bore ! You need to learn to get a backbone and pull yourself together and be useful to this great country of ours ! or remove yourself if you think some place else is more wonderful than USA. I like westernized thought , I love the cowboy in USA ! Very unique and only country not afraid to get it's feet dirty ! Me proud and not ashamed of President Bush . He got one lousy job fighting with radical Islam . YOU TRY IT SMARTY PANTS if you know more than people who are in the oval office !

Oh, you would have loved to have seen Saddam retire, only to have his sons continue the genocide over there, huh? Yeah - that's a positive step in the right direction - gimme a break! Saddam retire? Doubtful. As long as was able to kill his opponents, he would have never retired.
Secondly, Bush is NOT a dictator. He makes decisions based on what he feels is in the best interest of the country and for Iraq. You may not agree with every decision he makes, but put yourself in his shoes. He's got a lot on his shoulders to contend with and it's not an easy job. As for propoganda, the liberals are the aces in that arena - all they do is spew out BS and twist the truth to suit their agenda! I don't hear ANY liberals coming up with a better idea to settle the situation in Iraq - NONE of them have stood up and said, "I got an idea for dealing with Iraq" - NONE!! Thirdly, Bush used NO political tools or money or propoganda to get in the WH - he was elected by the American people by the freedom to vote - GET A GRIP ON REALITY HERE! I don't know what liberal media station you've been watching, but they're feeding your head with all sorts of garbage!
