When I first started on the puter I found the phenomenon of "Internet Time." My appraisal is that the GUI and all the electricity and high frequencies affect either time itself (doubtful) or some metqphysical issue is at work. Most likely it is that time flies when you're having fun

Because you are doing things on the computer that interests you and work SUCKS!! Therefore, time goes by faster.

Fun things ALWAYS seem to make time fly. However the boring or monotonous tasks will always make time crawl by. Its all just perception.
