I guess life itself has changed my outlook. I am almost thirty and I have experienced bad relationships, the loss of loved ones, I've seen cruel deeds done, I've been double crossed. . . . .I can go on. Once I hit my mid 20's, the blinders came off and I began to realize things beyond the surface. I wish I could go back to not knowing a lot of the pains, hardships, and truths. At the same time, I appreciate the wisdom I have gained.

The book "A Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley. After that I read many of his other works and they all made me rethink some of the ideas i've had throughout life. Gave me a lot of different perspectives on different subjects in life and society. Defenitely recommend him.

The clot I had in my leg that was heading to my lungs and almost killed me, reminded me of how precious life is, and how silly we can get while caring and worrying about tiny matters while there are much more important things to care about.
I also learned from my mistakes, they made me realize that everyday is a lesson for us, and we have to learn and change every day.

An accident, when a semi hit the car I was riding in, and I was in a coma for 3 months, and hard times were ahead, but it did lift the veil that was infront of my eyes since I was born.
