Once you have them there's no getting rid of them..the stretch marks are actually scars caused when the skin tries to repair itself after being stretched beyond its capacity. You can try to prevent them by using cocoa butter or something equally as greasy to keep the skin well moisturized and more flexible. They will fade but will never actually go away. I had three children and gained 60 pounds each time and didn't get one stretch mark. My niece gained 25 pounds and her belly looks like a road map. Some peoples skin is just naturally stretchy and able to bounce back I guess.

I haven't found anything but time that actually worked. If you are fair skinned you are in luck here, there is ONE major advantage to fair skin. Stretch marks and scars fade almost completely. I have a medium skin tone and my stretch marks have taken a long time to fade, but they are barely noticable. I should specify though that my stretch marks aren't from my pregnancies, I was lucky there. I have stretch marks from growing over a foot in one year when I was younger. They're on my back and legs, they are actually perpendicular to the normal stretch marks you see on people, but they have faded with time (about 24 years)

You can't get rid of them, but you can lighten them vitamin e works wonders but if you are able to go and get retin-a that works wonders. You will peel a lot but they won't be nearly as noticeable.
