The type R has different cams, making the engine rev out higher producing 195 hp @ 8200 rpm...............The GS-R has the same size engine but doesnt produce as much horsepower, producing 170 hp @ 7600 rpm...........

There are many differences, from appearance to performance. The intakes are different, horsepower, cam's, the stroke & compression, the engine block is longer on the ITR than the GSR. What is your exact question. If I were doing the change over then I would go with the ITR. More horsepower from the start plus higher revs.... LOL

WOW you don't know the differences and you're going to perform a swap? Just leave your 1.5L in there, and do some research before you try this.
