Who would not do anything they could to save a loved one? I would give my life for my son and my partner. I know my partner would do the same. We would give both our lives for our son. Which raises another question. Who would take care of the child you died for? What sort of situation would you be leaving them in? If it was a violent situation, would it be better to let them go? This question seems like a can of worms hey?!?

I would like to think I would for my husband or mom or dad (i have no kids yet, but I'm sure I would for them.)
Its such a idealistic thing to say that I would, but who really knows what they would do in a life or death situation, unless they've faced one. I'm afraid I would just freeze up and not be the hero that I would want to be.

I would sacrifice myself to save my children, in a heartbeat.
It;s just parental instinct.
You think you know the meaning of love and then you have children.
It super cedes any love you have ever experienced.
It's very powerful and will cause you to do anything to protect them.
