why is it that blondes are picked on in many upon many jokes?

i read somewhere that blonds evolved (if you beleive in that) because men were more attracted to the shiny, different hair, therefore passing on many blond genes. I think it was the most reliable source of Maxim Magazine...

All through life men have been really attracted to blonds, and there is a culture of beautiul women not needing to be playing with a full deck in order to get on in life. That doesn't mean that pretty people and blonds are automatically dumb...just that the world is more forgiving if you are. We have a male model that comes into my store, and we all agree, the guy's as dumb as a box or rocks, but he's pretty, so it doesn't matter.

So, between a few bad apples spoiling the barrel and a whole lot of envy (I happen to adore my red hair btw), the pretty ones just happen to be the butt of the joke.

yep! I notice that ,too !!! perhaps ,people prefer blondes and making up some jokes about blondes!?? in order to let other people be attracted by this kind jokes ?!? I'm not sure ,maybe sometimes blondes is a symbol of beauty ? so ...? anyway, in my opinion ,I think it's not that funny to make up such jokes .

Because when you see how Paris Hilton is clever, you can do nothing but make joke on a blonde.

In France we like do to jokes on blondes but also on Belgium people.
