When you suffer from insomnia, you're never really asleep, and never really awake.

First of all you said dream, to dream is to sleep....You didn't say daydream just want to make sure we don't get confused....
Actually sounds more like a night mare depending on the person...
And if you dream that means you know you woke up right.....so that is how you would know that you slept...
Doesn't mean that you had to sleep alot ok but you had to have slept...
Hope you don't have anymore of those weird dreams
Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite..... That didn't help now did it.... Know you really are going to be up all night worried about bed bugs oh well i tried...

That's so weird that you ask that question. I honestly use to do that about 5 years ago.
I guess you really can't... unless you do it two nights in a row. If I lack sleep one night, it doesn't affect me the next day. But, two nights in a row drains you.

I did that once, I dreamt (or think I did) of getting up in the middle of the night getting something to drink, all night long. I'm not sure if it was real or not.

Ha ha. Reminds me of the one: What do you call an insomniac dyslexic atheist? Someone who lies awake at night wondering if there really is a dog. Ha ha.
