Ok I only received Unemployment at the beginning of 2006. That is all the income that I received. I know that I only have to file it for Federal or State tax returns but I can't remember which one? Anyone know?

Federal is taxable, but you may pay no tax. It will depend on your income. you do not say what state you are from so i cannot answer that part of your question

I believe you have to file for both of those since it was your income. This year I went to www.expresstaxrefund.com to file my taxes and it took me about 10 minutes to fill out the account information and appropriate forms. Everything was laid out for me step by step. I even had a question and called their free customer support hotline and had that resolved in 1 minute flat. I would suggest going there and you can file your taxes with ease.

If you had taxes held out, it should show on your paystub. If you didn't, it is best to file both. Check out the unemployment website:
