every time i select scan for wireless internet networks the PSP detects my home network private with but with no security, then I put in the network name and when i select my wireless network from the list of available networks it says this" A connection error has occurred.A connection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the network and try again. wat can I do, it used to work and I tried reseting

hi-if you are using your own network--it should connect you automatically, do you have it set to do that?

you may need to uninstall the wireless card (or whatever the wireless thing is) completely--then turn off your computer & reinstall everything.

First, and quite obvious, switch on the PSP's wireless switch.
In terms of setting up the network that you plan on connecting to, it's best to manually fill everything in. If your wireless router has security on it, you'll have to enter in the password to your security while setting up your network. After all this is complete, save and test connection. In terms of what you state, it all seems to be a password problem, so just check that.
