Hogan at Bash and Michaels on Jannetty . Let's Not forget the first Mcmahon heel turn because it without it there wouldn't have been the Austin/McMahon feud. I was also fond of the Owen Hart turn on Bret from the Royal Rumble.

That is a great choice. As much as I don't like choosing the obvious answer that everyone else will choose, I gotta go with Hogan turning at Bash At The Beach. As a face, Hogan was not just a wrestler, but he was wrestling. He was a hero to kids everywhere and was the biggest loss that the WWF ever had. When he was picked up by WCW, he put them in households everywhere. Hogan was is the biggest face ever in wrestling. And in a heart beat he became the most hated wrestler in wrestling. That leg drop shocked people world wide. It cause fans to throw garbage into the ring (it didn't become a WCW tradition until after that night). It even cause an angered fan to jump the rail and attempt to go after Hogan. I wish I could think of a better answer that many couldn't think of, but I really can't.

This is an easy question. Hulk Hogan's heel turn at WCW Bash at the Beach is the best heel turn ever...no doubt about it. It beats every other heel turn by far including Rock, Austin, etc.
Hulk Hogan was wrestling leading babyface for many many years. Hulkamania was running wild. Nobody ever thought Hogan could be a heel. But Hogan and Eric Bischoff together decided it was time for a change. At WCW Bash at the Beach Hulk Hogan came down to the ring pretending to side with Sting and Randy Savage, but then he leg dropped Savage. He turned heel and joined Kevin Nash and Scott Hall to form the nWo, the most successful story line in wrestling history. People were pissed. Mean Gene got hit in the head with cups. The ring was full of trash from the fans. The fans took it personally that their American wrestling hero just turned heel after almost 20 years. It was truely surreal. The best and most shocking heel turn along with the best storyline in wrestling history can be credited to WCW.

I have two. 1.) When Bret Hart turned heel and expressed how much he thought (although it wasn't real, it was just storyline) America sucks. The great thing about the storyline was when Bret Hart and the Hart Foundation was in the United States they were booed, but if they went to Canada or any other country they were cheered. That was the first time that ever happened. 2.) When Hulk Hogan turned heel and became Hollywood Hogan at Bash at the Beach. It was great because nobody saw it coming and people were starting to think he would never be a heel, but one leg drop on Randy Savage and boom!, you got Hollywood Hogan. It also got alot of people interested in WCW because (as stated before) people never really thought Hogan would be a heel. I hope that answers your question.

Decent choice, De Realest. It doesn't hold a candle next to Hogan turning to create the NWO! A very close second would be Austin's heel turn at Wrestlemania 17, siding with Mr. McMahon.

Unfortunately I have to say looking in historical terms, Hulk Hogan's heel turn is still the best. My favorite heel turn was Shawn Michaels short two month stint as a heel leading up to his match with Hogan at SummerSlam. He did some classic jackass things.

the best heel turn ever had to be the rock.i rememebr he came back as such a big shot in 2003 and went into a feud with austin, then goldberg.that had to be the best one.he knew how to be a great heel.i rememebr they were in sacramento, and he started singing a song about the sacramento kings.he goes,I CANT EVEN FIND MY WAY,ILL BE BACK RITE HERE WEN THE LAKERS BEAT THE KINGS IN MAY! omg everyone went crazy on him, that was the best.personally now i think a john cena heel turn would be great.there is talks in the wwe of doing that maybe after wrestlemania 23

Got to be Hogan turning heel and joining the NWO. But personally my all time favorite is Shawn Michaels kicking Marty Jannety through the barbershop window.
